SensoXR Platform
The SensoXR platform brings together all of the software and hardware developments from the LIRIS laboratory that enable the implementation of immersive multisensory experiences, as well as the analysis of the associated user experience. It is supported by the virtual reality equipment of the Plateau Technologique d’Enseignement, de Recherche et de Valorisation (PTERV) at Centrale Lyon ENISE, Saint-Étienne.
The experimental room has a surface of 30 m². It is equipped with:
- A high-quality stereoscopic screen.
- State-of-the-art VR/MR/AR HMDs.
- 9 infrared tracking cameras (OptiTrack) for high-quality motion capture.
- A 64-speaker system for high fidelity spatialized sound.
- Technological devices for local and global thermal perception.
- Technological devices for local and global olfactory stimulation.
- Various Prototypes for Tactile Stimuli.

- 6DoF-vr-thermal-feedback – A dynamic and modular thermal feedback for interactive 6DoF VR.
- StimulHeat – A clip-on-controller thermal device for XR (collaboration with Institut des Nanotechnologies de Lyon (INL)).
- Kineo – a software for markerless calibration-free motion capture.
